Petr Zhizhin
Founder of Zhizhin Legal Studio, lawyer specializing in Kazakhstan law and AIFC law.
- Before founding the practice, he worked as Legal Counsel at an international IT company, at a Magic Circle law firm, and at one of Kazakhstan’s leading law firms, focusing on dispute resolution.
- Member of the YIMA (Asia Arbitration Comitee) and Compliance Hub.
- Admitted to legal practice in Kazakhstan, the AIFC, and Russia.
- Author of several academic and practical publications on law and technology.

Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Law (Civil Law major, with honors).

Samgat Turgenbayev
Legal Counsel
- Participated in legislative drafting and serves on expert advisory councils. Experienced in complex litigation and administrative matters requiring creative strategies and deep understanding of the local legal landscape.
- Experienced in complex administrative proceedings, licensing matters, regulatory oversight and sector-specific reviews. Led multijurisdictional projects on digital and telecom regulation and developed strategies for high-risk litigation.
- A lawyer with over 20 years of experience advising on Kazakhstan law. Represented clients before courts at all levels in consumer, regulatory, administrative and digital-platform-related disputes. Advised technology and telecom companies on compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Represented major corporate clients (Huawei, ArcelorMittal, VTB, Adidas) and major oil & gas companies in court and administrative proceedings, including in the oil and gas sector. Participated in legislative drafting initiatives and served on expert advisory councils.
